International Exchange

International Exchange: The International Exchange Center at Anzhen Hospital was set up in 1985 to provide new and enriching experiences for medical professionals to increase their exposure to the world and help them to develop new and important skills. Besides introducing new advances in technology, the exchange program at Anzhen Hospital is designed to increase scientific collaboration and initiate idea exchange.

Anzhen Hospital has received more than 2500 foreign guests and experts from more than 30 countries, including the U.S.A., U.K., France, Italy, Japan, etc. The hospital has focused deeply on international scientific exchange and has held 60 international academic conferences, symposia, and lectures. Nearly 400 foreign doctors or medical student have been trained in Anzhen Hospital and more than 500 members of the Anzhen Hospital staff have had the opportunity to go abroad to participate in exchange programs. The introduction of foreign technologies and administrative concepts has significantly increased the professional skills of the hospital staff. Several outstanding internationally-experienced talents have been produced out of these exchange programs, thus expanding the hospital’s influence and reputation both at home and abroad.
